2. By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for disposal.
3. The petitioner made a representation to the respondent seeking grant of patta. Since the representation has not been considered so far, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Taking note of the fact that the petitioner's representation is pending consideration with the respondent, a direction is issued to him to pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
