In both petitios For Petitioners : Mr.J.Senthil Kumar For R1 & R2 : Mr.M.Sakthikumar Government Advocate (Crl.side) COMMON ORDER The petitioner in W.P.Crl.(MD).No.1391 and W.P.Crl.(MD).No.1394 of 2026 are brothers. Both of them have filed these writ petitions seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action against the third respondent, one Meenammal, W/o Govintharaj, on the basis of the representations given by both the petitioners on 27.01.2026 and 25.02.2026. 2.Since no adverse order is likely to be passed against the third respondent, notice to her is dispensed with.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a land dispute is prevailing between the petitioners and the said Meenammal with respect to the land comprising an area of 1 Acre and 45 Cents situated in S.No.617/1B in Old Patta No.5111 and New Patta No.4087 at Bodinayakanur, Theni District. The third respondent being the owner of the adjacent land is unnecessarily encroaching upon the portion of land belonging to the petitioners. In this regard, several disputes have arisen between the parties and physical and verbal altercation has also erupted between the parties, for which, representations were given to the respondents 1 and 2 by the petitioners on 27.01.2026 and 25.02.2026. However, no action is taken so far. Hence, these writ petitions. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.
side), on instructions, submitted that both the representations were promptly considered and First Information Report in Crime No.151 of 2026 has been registered at the instance of the wife of Selvam, namely Yasothai as against on Meenammal and others and another FIR in Crime No.105 of 2026 has been registered as against Selvam, his wife Yasothai and one Punnuthai at the instance of Meenammal. 5.Heard either side and carefully perused the materials availabe on record.

6.From the submissions made on either side, it is made clear that the first and second respondent police had promptly acted upon by registering first information report for a criminal dispute, which had arisen out of pending civil dispute between the petitioners and the third respondent's family. In this regard, the petitioners are directed to approach appropriate civil court for resolving the civil disputes as against the third respondent and her family. 7.Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are disposed of.
