Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.

3. The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2017 and consequently to grant Provident Fund amount of Rs.3,00,000/- [Non-Recovery P.F] from the accrued provident fund of the petitioner.

4. Considering the limited scope of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, I direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.12.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by giving personal opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
