Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to cancel the patta, which had been issued in favour of 2nd respondent in patta No.1535 for the land situated in old survey No.364 in new suervy No.3253/7A of Kailasapatti, Thenkarari Bit-I Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2015, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner wants this Court to direct the first respondent to cancel the patta issued in favour of the second respondent in respect of the petition mentioned property. 2.As rightly pointed out by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent, the relief lies before the Revenue Divisional Officer and not before the Thasildhar. Therefore, keeping intact the petitioner's right, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
