Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned notifications issued by the 4th Respondent in Na.Ka No.3085/2018/C2 dated 20.02.2025 as published in Tamilsudar tamil dailyand quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 4th Respondent to conduct re-auction by following the tender transparency Act and Rules in letter and sprit and direct the 6th Respondent to investigate into the allegations against the 7th Respondent for abusing his official power so as to get undue advantage to him and made a revenue loss to the municipality by forming syndicate of 2 for each item of licences of collecting fees from the municipality markets and park etc.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the tender notification dated 20.02.2025, published by the fourth respondent in Na.Ka No.3085/2018/C2 and to direct the fourth respondent to conduct re-auction by following the Tender Transparency Act.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 4, 5 and 7 to 10 is dispensed with. 3/6

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, submitted that the tender process has already been completed and as such, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.

4.Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
