ORDER

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition seeking a direction against the third respondent not to harass him under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent Police is harassing the petitioner, at the instance of the fourth respondent, to enter a partition with the fourth respondent.

3. Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for respondents 1 to 3 and would submit that the fourth respondent is non-other than the Mother of the petitioner. They are having a family property and the respondent Police received a complaint from the fourth respondent / Mother of the petitioner that the petitioner is attempting to dispossess her and her another daughter-in-law from the house. A petition enquiry is pending on the file of the respondent Police in CSR.No.165 of 2020, dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.OP.(MD)No.6857 of 2020 22.06.2020. In order to evade from the enquiry, the petitioner has filed this petition.

4. In view of the rival submissions, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to co-operate the enquiry before the respondent Police in CSR.No.165 of 2020 and the respondent Police shall take appropriate action in accordance with law. Till the completion of the enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed.
