Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.

3. The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus directing the third and seventh respondents to provide the petitioner an alternate land for their occupation of his land in Town Survey No.73, a vacant house site to an extent of 0.409.5 Sq. meter at Ward No.18, Town Survey Ward-'J'- Block, Devakottai Town, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2018.

4. Considering the limited scope of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, I direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.04.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
