A minor girl, by name, Selvarani, D/o Chellapandi, aged about 17 years and 4 months, is now produced before this Court by the respondent police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that on knowing about the filing of the habeas corpus petition, the girl contacted the police, and she was admitted in a home, by name, Sakthi Vidiayal Home at Madurai, on 17.04.2025.

3. It appears that one Vaitheeswaran had kidnapped her from the custody of the petitioner.

4. The respondent police is directed to take necessary action in accordance with law. The girl shall be admitted to the home and be present 2/5

before the Judicial Magistrate for recording a Section 164 Cr.P.C statement, and if the girl is willing, she should be subjected to the medical examination, and necessary action should be taken as per the provisions contemplated under the POCSO offences.

5. Recording the appearance of the minor girl, and now her safety is also ensured, nothing survives in this habeas corpus petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of.
