ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- 1/3

The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 294(b), 506(2) and 427 of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, in Crime No.64 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity between the parties regarding the earlier criminal case, which was registered in Crime No.12 of 2023 against the petitioner and others, on 23.02.2024 at about 03.00 p.m., A1 trespassed into the defacto complainant's house and abused her in filthy language and damaged the household articles worth about Rs.12,000/- and further, all the accused threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the petitioner has 27 previous cases, out of which, 20 cases were already ended in acquittal and one case was ended in conviction. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the previous antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original 2/3
