ORDER

The petitioner only seeks for transfer of patta, which stands in the name of the vendor.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

3. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son purchased the property in the year 2007 and only on the basis of the mutation in the name of the then vendor, patta transfer has sought for on 15.02.2025.

5. Considering that the petitioner sought for transfer of patta, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application for transfer of patta dated 15.02.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, 2/4

within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
