When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the investigation in Crime No.235 of 2016 was completed and the case was closed as 'action dropped' on 16.10.2016. A copy of the closure report has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

2. Recording the same, this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
