ORDER

The petitioner before this Court is the husband and the respondent is the wife. Their marriage was solemnized on 06.11.2016 and out of the wedlock, they were blessed with a child. However, the relationship between the parties got strained and they are living separately. The petitioner has filed HMOP.No.17 of 2019 before the Sub Court, Tiruchendur, 1/4

seeking divorce. Thereafter, the respondent has filed an application in HMOP.No.26 of 2020 before the Sub Court, Tirunelveli, seeking restitution of conjugal rights. In the meantime, she has also filed a petition in Tr.CMP(MD)No.181 of 2021 before this Court to transfer the case in HMOP.No. 17 of 2019 from the file of Sub Court, Tiruchendur to the file of Sub Court, Tirunelveli and the same was also accordingly ordered. Now the divorce petition filed by the petitioner is pending before the Sub Court, Tirunelveli, in HMOP.No.29 of 2021. Since the divorce petition, which was filed by the petitioner originally in the year 2019, is still pending, he has come up with this revision petition seeking a direction for speedy disposal of the same. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on either side. 3.This Court has perused the B-Diary extract.

It appears that the divorce application in HMOP.No.17 of 2019 has been transferred to the file of Sub Court, Tirunelveli and renumbered as HMOP.No.29 of 2021.

the Additional Sub Court, Tirunelveli. Therefore, the trial Court shall endeavor to dispose of the petition in HMOP.No. 29 of 2021, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this civil revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
