O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2018 and to grant parole for a period of 7 days to his son Manikandan @ Nagendraboopathi now undergoing life sentence in the Central Prison, Madurai under the first respondent.

2. According to the learned Government Advocate, by letter dated 29.05.2018, it was addressed to the petitioner to furnish a medical certificate to the first respondent and thereafter her representation will be considered by the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that subsequently the petitioner has made a representation along with the medical certificate to the respondents. But the said representation was not considered at all.

4. In the light of the above said submission, by providing an opportunity to the petitioner, the respondents shall consider the petitioner's representation, dated 29.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner also furnish the copy of the representation and also the relevant documents along with the order copy to the first respondent.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
