ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) The writ petition has been filed for a direction to forbear the respondents from granting permission to conduct the political meetings or any kind of meetings in the Theradi Veethi, Kalaiyar Kovil, Sivagangai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2024 and 24.10.2024 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The petitioner is a resident of Kalaiyarkoil and in the busy locality, where the public meetings and political meetings are permitted, 2/5

owing to the public meetings, free flow of traffic will get affected and flex boards and banners erected by the organizers will cause great hardships to all the public. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 04.05.2024 and the last such representation was given on 24.10.2024. Since the said representation was not considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits or the contentions of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2024 by giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as others and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
