ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused Nos.2, 6 to 8, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 366(A) IPC on the file of the respondent Police in crime No.142 of 2017, seek bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The case of the prosecution is that the victim girl aged about 17 years was abducted by A1 with the help of the petitioners herein by Cars and the victim girl is not secured so far. On complaint, a case has been registered against the petitioners.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that the first petitioner is the mother of the first accused and she does not have any knowledge about the occurrence. Being the mother of the first accused, she has been falsely implicated in the crime. He would further submit that the petitioners 2 to 4 are friends of the first accused and due to which they have been falsely implicated in this crime. Moreover, from the date of registration of the case they are co-operating for the investigation. Further, the petitioners were arrested on 05.06.2017 and they are in custody.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit on instructions that there are eight accused in this case. He would further submit that A1, A3 to A5 are still absconding and the investigation is still pending. 6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the victim girl is not secured and that the accused nos. 1, 3 to 5 are still absconding and that the investigation is still pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
