ORDER
This petition is filed seeking a direction to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.17 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent and perused the records.
3.The case of the prosecution is that the accused in Crime No.17 of 2016 by giving false promise to secure employment in Government Department and this petitioner and other accused received more than 3,19,00,000/-(Rupees three crores and nineteen lakhs only) from various persons. Subsequently, the accused have cheated them and neither secured employment nor returned the money. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is having eight previous cases in similar nature and the investigation is at initial stage.
5. Perusal of the records would also reveal that there are specific allegations made against the petitioner and the co-accused.
6. Considering the submissions and facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner has not made out any grounds to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.17 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
