ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole accused, who were arrested on 27.03.2021 for the offences under Sections 4(1)(aa) r/w 4(1-A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Cr.No.215 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 55 litres of Pondicherry Arrack. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.5738 of 2021 him. He would also submit that the petitioner is in jail for more than 25 days, hence he may be granted bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent opposed the bail petition stating that the petitioner is having three previous cases, which are similar in nature. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioner is having three previous cases, which are similar in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
