The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the objections and grievance of the petitioner made in his representation dated 20.09.2023 in accordance with Section 40(1) and (6) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act 2016.

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. 2/4
