The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.179 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the final report is filed in Crime No.179 of 2020 of Moondradaippu Police Station, Tirunelveli District in C.C.No.7 of 2021 before the Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri and that the petitioner's name has also been deleted in the final report and therefore, he did not press this petition.

3.Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as not pressed.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
