PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying this Court to transfer of investigation in the matter relating to the Crime No.15 of 2022 on the file of the 3rd respondent and entrust the same to the 2nd respondent for investigation of the case and file a chargesheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul. ORDER
This petition is filed to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.15 of 2022 on the file of the 3rd respondent.
2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that a direction to complete the investigation within the time stipulated is to be granted by this Court. 3.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that already investigation was over and a case was closed as 'action dropped' and RCS notice was served on the petitioner.
4.In view of the submission made by the prosecution and since investigation was already over, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The petitioner is at liberty to take action against the final report filed by the respondent.
