ORDER

The petitioner is seeking to enter his higher educational qualification in Master of Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.,) in the Service Register (SR) and sanction incentive increment by considering the representations dated 29.11.2021 and 21.12.2022.

2. It is not clear whether the petitioner had obtained prior permission for qualifying himself as Master of Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.,). Moreover, the Government has passed G.O. restricting the incentive increment for higher qualification.

3. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court simply directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's case in accordance to law. If the petitioner's claim is in accordance to law, the benefits shall be granted to the 2/4

petitioner. The respondents shall pass a speaking order. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
