ORDER

This petition is filed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take action against the respondents 5 and 6 by considering the representation dated 14.05.2020. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent Police registered a case against him in Crime No.85 of 2020 for the 1/3

alleged offence under Section 4(1)(i) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, as if, this petitioner was found in possession of 10 brandy bottles, at the time of investigation. According to the petitioner, the case registered against him is foisted by the Sub Inspectors of Police, respondents 5 and 6 herein.

3.Heard Mr.C.D.Johnson, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

4.A perusal of the records shows that 10 Evening Walker Brandy bottles, each containing 180 M.L., were recovered from the petitioner at the time of investigation. The petitioner an accused in Crime No.85 of 2020 filed this petition only in order to wreck vengeance against the Sub Inspectors of Police, who registered the case against the petitioner. Further, the petitioner has not made out any ground for the relief sought for in this petition. 5.In the result, this writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
