The Writ Petition was disposed of by order dated 18.02.2026. Originally, in the Writ Petition, instead of mentioning the second respondent as "The Superintendent of Waqf, Trichy, Trichy District," the second respondent was erroneously described as "The Superintendent of Waqf, Thanjavur, Thanjavur District." The same has been reflected in the final order dated 18.02.2026. Hence, the present application has been filed.

2. Considering the reasons stated, and as the error is only an inadvertent and innocuous mistake, the present application for amendment is allowed. The Registry is directed to carry out the correction in the cause title by substituting the second respondent as "The Superintendent of Waqf, Trichy, Trichy District," and to issue and re-upload the corrected order dated 18.02.2026. 06.04.2026 smn2 ____________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
