O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 15.01.2025 and conduct enquiry and initiate appropriate action against the respondents 3 and 4.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents with regard to organizing of Jallikattu. During Jallikattu, the respondents 3 and 4 assaulted the petitioner and criminally intimidated him, thereby, the petitioner lodged a complaint to the second respondent but no action was taken. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation is under consideration. The petitioner has not appeared for enquiry. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass order.

5.According to the petitioner, the private respondents assaulted him, thereby, he lodged the complaint, but no action was taken. The second respondent has admitted the receipt of the petitioner's complaint. However, he stated that the petitioner has not co-operated for enquiry. 5.At this juncture, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has no objection to appear before the respondent police.

6.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent for enquiry on 28.03.2025 and thereafter, the 3/5
