This petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.248 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent/Inspector of Police, Dindigul Town North Police Station, Dindigul District. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the case was registered and the petitioner's name was deleted at the time of filing of charge sheet. It is further submitted that the de-facto complainant has also filed a protest petition, aggrieved by the deletion of the petitioner, who is the third accused in this case.

3. Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the view that no further direction is necessary at this moment. In case, if there is any alteration in the final report, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in accordance with law.

3.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
