Seeking police protection, the petitioner has approached this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents. The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police, however, no action was taken by the respondent. Since the private respondents made serious life threat to the petitioner, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking police protection.

3.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), who takes notice for the official respondents submits that based on the complaints given by the parties, an enquiry has been contemplated in CSR Nos.418 and 518 of 2022 and it would be concluded within a reasonable time.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The official respondents are directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaints and take a decision as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.
