: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to disposal on the petitioner's representation through person and post to issue patta in favour of the petitioner residing at 13/29, East Car Street, Mudhukulathur, Ramnad District, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner, wherein, the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed, dated 18.10.2016. The further case of the petitioner is that he had made representations before the fourth respondent seeking for transfer of patta in his name. Since the same was not acted upon, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr.V.K.Saravanan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned Special https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.8656 of 2021 Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 28.09.2018 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any other interested parties are claiming right over the subject property, they shall also be issued with notice and an opportunity shall also be given to them.

5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the fourth respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
