This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the State.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioners and harassed them under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the first petitioner's husband is the accused in Crime No.380 of 2016 and the petitioners are not accused in any case; they are only called for enquiry; no harassment made against the petitioners. However, he gave an undertaking that if at all, the presence of the petitioners is required, the respondent would call the petitioners for enquiry only after issuing summons giving specific date, time and place.
