PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to transfer the Investigation in Crime No.48 of 2026 on the file of 3rd respondent to any other impartial investigating agencies, investigate the same in accordance with law.

ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the investigation in crime No.48 of 2026, on the file of the third respondent to any other impartial investigating agency and investigate the same in accordance with law.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the occurrence has taken place on 22.12.2025 and even though a complaint was lodged on 23.12.2025, the same was not taken on file. Therefore, the petitioner was constrained to approach the Principal District Court, Tiruchirappalli, wherein a direction was issued under Section 175(3)of BNSS directing the police officials to register an F.I.R. Thereafter, the F.I.R. was registered on 02.02.2026 in crime No.48 of 2026.
3. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the accused persons are threatening the petitioner and so far the complainant has not been enquired into. Therefore, he apprehends that the investigation would not be conducted in an impartial manner and therefore, he seeks transfer of investigation to any other agency.

4. Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that it is under investigation and they would complete the investigation within a period of two weeks.
5. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation in the meantime. The second respondent is directed to complete investigation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
