: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to appoint the petitioner as the lecturer in the permanent and sanctioned post now lying vacant in the post lecturer in English Department, in the 4th respondent institution, with effect from 16.06.2010 with all monitory benefits on the basis of University Grant Commission Norms 2006, by considering the representations dated 9.4.2014, 18.6.2014 and 22.7.2014 made by the petitioner to the respondents, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has given a letter, dated 24.11.2016, to the Registry to withdraw this writ petition, which reads as follows:- "Since the petitioner has agreed with the Management, namely, Scott Christian College, Nagercoil, regarding her posting and appointment, this Writ Petition has agreed to be withdrawn by her.

Accordingly, kindly direct the Registry to post the above writ petition for withdrawal at the earliest." 2.In view of the letter given by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
