This writ petition has been filed in public interest, seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take over the management of the Sri Rukumani Satyabama Samedha Gokulakrishnan Thirukovil, situated at survey No.10/1, Naganakulam Periakanmai, Indian Bank Colony, Narayanapuram, Madurai-625 014 by appointing an Executive Officer as per law, by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 23.12.2013.

2. Heard both sides.

3. We find no reason to entertain this writ petition as a public interest litigation, since take over of the management of a particular temple, would come under the domain of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue direction as prayed for. Moreover, the said temple has not been added as a party in the present writ petition and therefore, this Writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed. No costs.
