ORDER
This petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of his complaint, dated 08.03.2016.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to some civil dispute, one Thulasi along with henchmen abused the petitioner and his family members with dire consequences and hence, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent on 08.03.2016 and based on which, a case in crime No.31 of 2016 was also registered, thereafter, no action was taken by the respondent police. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking police protection.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner, dated 08.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
