ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who is arrayed as sole accused was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.04.2017 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 448, 376-511 and 307 of IPC in Crime No.88 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit on instructions that the petitioner herein is the sole accused in this case. He entered into the house of the defacto complainant during the night hours and attempted to rape her and on her alarm husband woke up and the petitioner attacked the husband of the defacto complainant by using aruval on the forehead and left hand and shoulder and caused injuries. Now, the injured has been discharged from the hospital. He would further submit that the petitioner is having same type of offence in Crime No.100 of 2015 on the file of the Kallaperumal Police Station for the offences under Sections 341, 376 and 506(i) of IPC and the investigation is still pending. .

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and his name has been falsely implicated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in this case and the petitioner is in custody from 30.04.2017.

4. Considering the serious nature of allegations made against the petitioner and also the bad antecedents of the petitioner in Crime No.100 of 2015 on the file of the Kallaperumal Police Station for the offences under Sections 341, 376 and 506(i) of IPC, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
