The petitioner is working as 'Constable' in Central Industrial Security Force. He was transferred from Trichy to Singareni in Andrapradesh and he joined in the transferred place. It is further seen that the petitioner has submitted a request for being posted at Chennai.

2.Now, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents may be directed to consider the request of the petitioner for being posted at Chennai. 3.At this stage, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits on instruction that the writ petitioner has been removed from service.

4.In view of above submission, as nothing survives in this matter to be adjudicated upon further, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
