Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents i.e. the Agricultural Production Commissioner and Principal Secretary to Government, Agriculture Department, Chennai and the Commissioner of Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2020 based on the Proc.No.MCE1/7586/2013 dated 18.02.2020 of the Commissioner of Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business, Chennai which is also based on the orders of the Government Letter No.7481/AM1(1)/2013-48 dated 29.10.2019, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 2.Though the prayer is for a writ of mandamus to directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2020 based on the Proc.No.MCE1/7586/2013 dated 18.02.2020 of the Commissioner of Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business, Chennai which is also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ ____________ Page No 1 of 2
W.P.(MD) No.7079 of 2020 based on the orders of the Government Letter No.7481/AM1(1)/2013-48 dated 29.10.2019, I am inclined to pass the following order: "The respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.03.2020 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, the petitioner should be called for hearing before passing such order." 3.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
