O R D E R

This petition is filed for a direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai, to commit the P.R.C.No. 51 of 2014 pending on his file after complying with the provisions of Section 207 of Cr.P.C. to the Court of Sessions within the time specified by this Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner pointed out that the long delay and laches are on account of the lapses on the part of the police department. This Court by order dated 13.07.2017 directed the respondent police to submit an explanation as to the various lacunae and lapses pointed out by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai, in his report when it was called for earlier. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner now that after the order passed by this Court on 13.07.2017, the case was committed to the Court of Sessions and the matter is posted to 01.09.2017 for appearance of parties. Hence, the grievance of the petitioner is addressed. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is closed as infructuous. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
