ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to correct the Survey No. as 137/22 instead of 137/23 in respect of the property situated at Thiruvengaivasal Revenue Village, Kurukkalayyapatti, Ayangudi Village, Illupur Taluk, measuring to an extent of 5 cents and consequently direct the respondents to survey the petitioner's land.

3.Admittedly, with regard to the wrong entries made in the revenue records by the authorities, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 22.12.2014 to the respondents. Now the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation within a stipulated time.

4.It is pertinent to note that the third respondent himself has sent a communication dated 16.03.2015 admitting that the said survey number was wrongly shown as his property during the UDR scheme survey. 5.In such view of the matter, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation dated 22.12.2014 filed by the petitioner, on merits, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner as well as other parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
