ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondent police to afford the police protection, ensuring the petitioner's peaceful ingress and egress to his property in Survey No.1762/2 and Allinagaram Village, Theni Taluk, Theni District.
2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that already a First Information Report in Crime No.133 of 2026 was registered on 09.02.2026 in this regard.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
4. It is seen that the petitioner is still encountering with certain problems with the accused persons. In this regard, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to issue summons under Section 64 of BNSS, 2023 to the petitioner as well as the rival party and thereafter, on inquiry, if the 2nd respondent police finds merit in the claim of the petitioner, is directed 2/4
to afford necessary police protection on payment in terms of GO.Ms.No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
