PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to direct to speedy disposal of case as per Section 143(2) & 143(3) of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1882, in S.T.C.No.447 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Manamadurai, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, for expeditious disposal of S.T.C.No.447 of 2024. 1/4
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, he has not been cross examined by the accused person for several hearings and the accused person is not regularly appearing before the Court.
3. A perusal of the diary extract reveals that the complainant was also absent on several occasions. Therefore, the complainant is directed to co-operate for speedy disposal of S.T.C.No.447 of 2024.
4. In view of the above said facts, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, is directed to dispose of S.T.C.No.447 of 2024 on or before 31.07.2026.
5. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
