ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner / accused, who was arrested on 14.09.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 506 (ii) and 307 of I.P.C., and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.378 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

3. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, on 12.09.2016, the petitioner along with the other accused attacked the de-facto complainant with Aruval and deadly weapons and also damaged the house of the de-facto complainant.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 14.09.2016.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that this is the second bail petition and the earlier petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court on 21.10.2016 in Crl.O.P. 6. Taking note of the serious offence said to have been committed by the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant

bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
