The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 16.01.2016 for transferring the investigation in Crime No.21/2016 from the 2nd respondent police to any other investigating agency.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. It is seen that the FIR has been registered in this case only on 13.01.2016 and investigation is being done by the Sub Inspector of Police, Devipattinam Police Station. Hence, it is too premature to transfer the investigation to any other agency. However, the Inspector of Police, Devipattinam, is directed to monitor the case in Crime No.21/2016 and take action in accordance with law.
