This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the order dated dated 24.02.2020 passed by the respondent and further direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in due course of his employment by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 02.02.2024.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents circulated an order of the respondent dated 12.04.2024 before this Court and the copy of the same has been served upon the learned counsel for the petitioner only today. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the disciplinary proceedings itself have been completed against the petitioner and he was imposed with the punishment of removal from service.

3. In view of the subsequent development, nothing survives in this Writ Petition and hence, the same becomes infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order, if he so advised. 2/4
