ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 307, 435, 285 of TNPPDI Act and and Section 4 3 (1) and 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.91 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that during festival function, there was group clash between the Thoppalakarai Village people and they were attacked each other with stick and iron rod and aruval and the people belonging to both group got injured and a counter case was also registered.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner states that there is no previous case as against the petitioner and the co-accused were already released on bail.

5.Taking note of the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukottai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Dindigul Town Police Station, Dindigul daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
