The petitioners herein are accused in Crime No.1579 of 2020 registered on the file of the first respondent herein. Maruthu Sethupathi is the defacto complainant. He is present before this Court in person. The petitioners are also present in person. They have been duly identified by Mr.B.Saravanan, Head Constable attached to Thirumangalam Town Police Station. Crl.O.P(MD)No.5801 of 2021 does not want to pursue the complaint, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. In the interest of justice, the impugned FIR is quashed and the criminal original petition is allowed.
