ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to retire on Voluntarily Retirement Scheme and to provide leave to the petitioner till the sanction of his retirement.
2. Heard Mr.P.Vijaynivas, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Jagadees Balan, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.
3. Mr.P.Vijaynivas, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on medical ground, the petitioner has given a request to allow him to go on Voluntarily Retirement Scheme, but the same has not been considered so far by the respondent.
4. If the petitioner is eligible to go on Voluntarily Retirement Scheme, the respondent shall consider his medical grounds and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
