O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent No.2 to file a final report in Crime No.63 of 2015 dated 19.08.2015 and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petition enquiry is over, the respondent police has not filed final report.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that originally charge sheet was filed on 04.10.2015 and thereafter, offence was altered into one under provisions of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and that they have to submit a report to the Magistrate. It is further stated that it is for the petitioner to appear before the Magistrate and thereafter only, criminal case will be registered in accordance with law. The respondent may be directed to submit the report within a reasonable time.

5. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed with a direction to the second respondent to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
