This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent, ie., the District Collector, Madurai to take further action as per his proceedings No.ROC.A1/2365/2019, dated 05.11.2019 by sending revised pension proposals, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.Even though the petitioner's name was included in the approved list of Deputy Tahsildar of the year 2006, vide proceedings of the second respondent, dated 05.11.2019, no further step has been taken.

In this regard, the petitioner had also sent a representation to the respondents on 22.04.2020. However, no order has been passed on the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.04.2020. Hence, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions:

3.1.The respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.04.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
