ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus to consider the appeal of the petitioner dated 14.03.2013. By the said appeal, the petitioner has requested the authorities to grant patta in favour of him.

2. Mrs.S.Bharathi learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the appeal of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the appeal of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner, dated 14.03.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner, Rajamaniammal as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
