ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Family Court, Madurai, to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.1271 of 2019 pending on its file, within a period stipulated by this Court. 1/4

2. The petitioner herein is the husband and the first respondent is the wife. Due to some misunderstanding, they are now living separately. Thereafter, the petitioner/husband filed H.M.O.P.No.1271 of 2019 before the Family Court, Madurai, seeking divorce. The first respondent/wife has also filed DVC petition against the petitioner.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the first petitioner got back all her belongings and jewels, however, by suppressing the same, she filed DVC petition with false and frivolous allegations against him. It is the further case of the petitioner that pending the divorce petition, the first respondent/wife married another person and therefore, she is not appearing before the trial Court and hence, the divorce proceedings are pending for the past three years, without any progress. Therefore, he seeks for a direction to the trial Court for early disposal of the suit.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition and also considering the fact that the divorce petition 2/4

is filed in the year 2019, the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai, is directed to conclude the trial and dispose of H.M.O.P.No.1271 of 2019, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
