ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners/A2 and A4, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (C) read with 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, in crime No.197 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 28.09.2018, on secret information, when the respondent made a search near Malaiyadi road, four men standing near the place of occurrence and the respondent found that A1 and A3 were in joint possession of 1.250 kg of ganga. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have nothing to do with the alleged offence.

4.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submitted that the investigation is pending.

5.Taking note of the facts and circumstances, since the offence is serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
